MF’s biggest fundraiser of the year: Kingston restaurant Aroma will be host to a silent art auction and fundraising dinner. A percentage of each meal will go to Modern Fuel’s support of young and emerging contemporary artists.  ART CONTROVERSY: earlier this week, a customer at Aroma demanded one of the artworks be removed immediately from the wall.  The offending piece (a photo of a Mexican wrestler toy, see above) reminded her of “a human form being immolated.”

Honestly, if this customer could provide a definition of what immolated means I would support taking down the piece.
