Though perhaps a tad academic, this could be of interest to anyone who makes their own media: Will Rueter is giving an illustrated talk at Jordan Library (Queen’s rare books & special collections) this Wednesday night.

Will has worked as a graphic designer for 33 years; he’s won many design awards and co-founded The Devil’s Artisan, a magazine that promotes fine printing, typographic design and book arts in Canada.  He’s been running his own private press (The Aliquando Press in Dundas, Ontario) since 1963.

Until March 31st, you can swing by and admire the exhibit of beautiful Aliquando print works in Jordan Library.

Illustrated talk by Will Rueter, proprietor of the Aliquando Press
Wednesday March 11, 7:30pm to 8:30pm
W.D. Jordan Special Collections & Music Library (2nd floor of the Douglas Library, 93 University Ave)
