Apple Crisp Concert this Friday Night
- The Weather Station (featuring members of Apple Crisp regulars Entire Cities) & Weird Weather. Enjoy a night of experimental folk at The Artel. $5, all ages, homemade apple crisp and tea for sale. (Friday, doors at 8pm, The Artel - 205 Sydenham St)
- AKA Autonomous Social Centre people have a festival lined up this May Day weekend, including a “Really Really Free Market” in Skeleton Park (Friday 3-7pm), urban Capture the Flag, free lunch, and a public screening of documentary about an underground music venue and radical organizing space in Copenhagen.

- Transactions of the Eye Reception at Modern Fuel - an art exhibition in conjunction with CubaFest (Sunday 3-6pm, Modern Fuel- 21 Queen St)
- Mechanical Bird — a short-run screenprinting, photography and recycled clothing studio — launches this weekend. Watch for their wares around town throughout the Summer.
