Also, Apple Crisp’s biggest band (yet…) The Gertrudes are heading out to Sappyfest! They play Saturday August 1st in the Mainstage Tent alongside Lonnie James and Jon Rae Fletcher. While on the East Coast, they’ll also hit Gus’ Pub in Halifax for a show with Rueben deGroot on August 3rd and stop in at the Black Sheep Inn in Wakefield for another show with Rueben deGroot and Dan Kosub on August 6th…
Then they’re back in Kingston just in time to play Friday night (before Sarah Harmer) on Wolfe Island as part of the Wolfe Island Music Festival (which incidentally is featuring some awesome bands this year including Kingston faves The RAA as well as Woodhands and many others - see the festival website for more details).
