When tuning into CFRC 101.9fm, one is almost certainly in for a surprise. Perhaps you’ll come across some of the finest Canadian folkie strummers, perhaps some late-night noise rock, or maybe the newest electro-indie tracks. Regardless, you can be guaranteed to have quality music or spoken word content presented by a passionate Kingston community member.

Here are just some of this week’s highlights:

Mon-Fri 8:00-10:00am Indie Wake Up Call, morning show with different spin on indie each day

Mon 2:30-4:00pm Exploding Plastic Inevitable, new and old indie rock with host Laura Kelly

Thurs 1:00-2:30pm Kingston Staged, live music recorded around Kingston

Thurs 2:30-4:00pm The Yokal, music with a Kingston connection with host Greg Tilson

Sat 11:00pm-01:00am This Night Wounds Time, prog rock, psych rock and the avant-garde
